The beach itself is popular and boasts white sands and sparkling clear waters. There are a number of beach clubs, high-end restaurants offering both Thai and International cuisine and a wealth of bars, shops, banks, cafes etc.

Patong's nightlife is around a 25 minute drive away, as is Central Shopping Mall in Phuket Town, whilst the airport can be reached in around 35 minutes.
